This plaster bust of Homer was broken when it fell from a shelf at Berwick Academy, S. Berwick, Maine.

The bust was made by P. P. Caproni and Brother, Boston Massachusetts 1890-1969, a firm that specialized in making plaster casts of classical and other statuary.
