Design and color consultant in a Federal Revival Townhouse, Capital Hill, Washington, DC

Recreated an eclectic Victorian library complete with custom bookshelves, leather sofa, antique Oriental carpet, Jacobean desk, humidor and 19th century globe. Wall treatment includes Pompeiian design and ornamentation. All woodwork finished in mahogany faux bois.

Dining room walls were treated with a series of glazes to simulate exotic wood. Gold stenciling on the ceiling and walls shimmer under accent lighting. The treatment serves as a backdrop for the client’s collection of religious and folk art.
